A Safe Place For Gamers

I for one fully support the new addition to Roosh's media empire, a gaming site for heterosexual men. He saw a need and he stepped in to fill it like the true entrepreneur he is. Glad too to see he has a strong ethics policy which explicitly prohibits doxxing and online harassment. Most of the SJWs and feminists are equally thrilled. As one wag tweeted, "Can we now replace the gate with a wall, put razor wire on top, and keep them all in there?"

  1. I think it's utterly pathetic how he's just another PUA type trying to mine a new customer base. God help the gamers who fall for his schtick.

  2. That last line made me laugh out loud.

  3. It's not "pathetic" it's prudent. I'm sure he's scrambling for ideas for his retirement.
It's not like this PUA schtick is going to keep working for him. He's got to be more than *cough* tuckered *cough* out, and when did he have his last "real" job?

  4. I take that back. I suppose he might go on to try for…50 Bangs In Outer Space, or some such.

    1. Or Historic Bangs? Advice on how he would game Queen Elizabeth the First?

  5. I like how the name of his new site perfectly encapsulates what the Manosphere and Dark Enlightenment movements seem to be all about: repackaging terrible old ideas as something hip, edgy and new. I wonder if the two Xs in Reaxxion are a shout-out to that '80s arcade classic, Zaxxon, or simply meant to symbolize how RAD and totally EXXTREME his new site's going to be (they certainly couldn't be a reference to icky women chromosomes).

    1. Oops, my bad. Seems like there actually is a Reaxxion game, which is presumably what the site takes its name from (and which is presumably a lot more fun than hanging out with Roosh and his disturbing fan club).

    2. I'll be interested to see how Roosh's latest effort pans out. Given he isn't interested in gaming himself it's going to be hard for him to give much input.

I had a quick look over there and they're already posting articles that attack Zoe Quinn, and nag gamers to start weightlifting, so it's only a matter of time before it just becomes some tired rehash of RoK.

    3. I had a look over there myself, and you're right! (What's next? Attempts to persuade everyone that Zoe Quinn, Anita Sarkeesian and all the rest are actually agents of THE CATHEDRAL? [Cue dramatic music]) Had to laugh at the picture of Aurini they'd posted up there - he's looking very camp in that one, isn't he (I still can't help wondering if he's not just one huge Poe)? Gotta love the Manuresphere's obsession with lifting too - apparently everyone on the infamous Red Pill subreddit's always going on about how much they "lift" (it seems to be their favourite pastime after posting bogus "field reports" about all the hot sex they're supposedly having).

    4. That is a great photo, but a bizarre article. They sound like McCarthyists with all this paranoid SJW under the bed nonsense. Oh, and apparently Sarkeesian only gets more donations because she's using NLP to hypnotize people into sending money?

On the whole it's still a pretty dull site, not even good for 'outrage porn'. And naming the site after a real game? Strange choice, it's not even an especially iconic one. Could it be that they weren't aware of Reaxxion the game when they set up the site?

    5. p.s.

I like the way Aurini starts channeling Fight Club at one point, though those guys are ruining Chuck Palahniuk for me.
